The project’s aim was to capture the main areas of globalization: economics, politics, ecology, culture, and security. Nine authors participated altogether. Mr. Eichler’s contribution was entitled “Globalization and international security relations.” On 42 pages, he focused predominantly on changes of understanding security after the Cold War. Further on, it evaluated the most important armed conflicts of this period. A special attention was paid to terrorism and WMD proliferation as the most serious security threats of the 21st century.

History of the Occupied Czech Borderland – Regions Excluded from Third Reich Sudetenland District (the project has already been finished)

This project started in 2002 and focused on the Czech-German relations development, especially in the time of Munich (and the role SdP played), and the political and economic history of the Czech borderland that were occupied but not made part of the Third Reich Sudetenland District between 1938 and 1945.
