The Future of EU-Central Asia Relations

Our Senior Researcher Alica Kizeková attended discussions on strengthening and energizing EU-Central Asia Relations and photo exhibition “Daily lives in Central Asia”, organized by the Trans European Policy Studies Association (TEPSA) at the Centre for Fine Arts “BOZAR” in Brussels on 4th April 2019.

Alica moderated the panel "What does the EU’s planned strategy on ‘Connecting Europe and Asia’ mean for Central Asia". Her fellow panelists were Philippe van Amersfoort, Deputy Head, Central Asia Division, EEAS; Andreas Marazis, Project Manager and Researcher, European Neighbourhood Council and Jan de Kimpe, Managing Director, PICS Belgium.

Alica Kizeková, Ph.D. is a senior researcher at the Institute of International Relations Prague and her main fields of interest include great power relations and security in Central Asia and the Asia Pacific, International and European Security or Soft balancing.
