This year’s presidential and parliamentary elections in Ukraine will determine the future of this country for several years to come. The stakes are multidimensional: Will the old power-pyramid or even clan system crumble? Will the elections complete or reverse the 2014 Revolution of Dignity impulse? What kind of support will the new (or old) president have after the parliamentary elections in October? Could the elections start a new era in Ukrainian politics in such regards as gender balance or deoligarchization? Our non-resident senior fellow Andreas Umland will try to deal with these issues in his upcoming presentation at the IIR.

Speaker: Andreas Umland, Senior Nonresident Fellow, Institute of International Relations (Senior Fellow, Institute for Euro-Atlantic Cooperation)
