Prague European Summit 2017

Prague European Summit is a platform for strategic dialogue about common responses to EU's challenges. It connects public officials, business and NGO representatives, academics, and journalists to discuss topics such as EU leadership, security, new technologies and digital age, current economic & foreign policy challenges, or the impact of various policies and trends on the European society.

A special focus of the third year of Prague European Summit was put on political radicalisation in Europe, Brexit and the future of the single market, the banking union, the digital agenda and the new form of transatlantic relations, relations of EU and Russia etc. Among the prominent guests, the Summit hosted the foreign minister of Austria and other countries.

The conference was organized as an initiative of the Institute of International Relations Prague together with EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy and partners with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Office of the Government of the Czech Republic, Representation of the European Commission in the Czech Republic and the City of Prague, Visegrad Fund, European Commission and Czech Centres.
