Daniel Šitera Senior Researcher
Daniel Šitera works at the Institute of International Relations Prague as a Senior Researcher and Head of the Centre for Global Political Economy. His research focuses on comparative and international political economy, the economic dimension of European integration, and issues of EU digital sovereignty. He regularly comments on the topics in the media.
He studied global studies, political science, and international relations at the University of Leipzig (Dr. phil.), Charles University (Ph.D.), and the University of Wrocław (M.A.). He is also a Lecturer at the Prague University of Economics and Business (VŠE). He is a member of the Institute's Board.
